Carter Machinery\u2019s flagship event was a huge success. This year\u2019s event took place over two days – June 11-12 with more than 1,000 attendees passing through the gates at Meadow Event Park in Doswell, VA. The event showcased the latest Cat\u00ae equipment, attachments, and technology, as well as other products and Carter\u2019s extensive parts, service, and rental offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees learned about equipment through live demos and displays of next-generation Cat machines, rental equipment, and industry-related technology, and talked with 200-plus industry experts from Carter Machinery, Caterpillar, SITECH, and other top-tier industry partners and sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carter Con\u2019s highlight was the Cat Global Operator Challenge that saw 150 contestants demonstrate their skills as machine operators behind the controls of Cat\u2019s latest products. Operators competed in events to test their agility, speed, and accuracy \u2013 including \u201cThe Load & Go\u201d while operating a Medium Wheel Loader, the \u201cStay On Track\u201d obstacle course using a Compact Track Loader, and \u201cThe Big Dig\u201d while trenching with a Medium Excavator. The overall winner received $1,000 and an all-expense-paid trip to the Eastern Regional Operator Challenge Finals in Clayton, NC, on September 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
